Katy Cortez, Tax Specialist & Bookkeeper
Katy obtained a bachelor’s degree in business management. After graduating college, Katy’s first financial experience was working for a retirement and financial planning company that prepared taxes for their long-term clients. After preparing taxes for that first year, Katy discovered that helping people with their taxes was her passion. Katy has over 7 years of tax preparation experience, having completed more than 1,500 individual and business returns. Also, Katy has helped train and set up new businesses with different bookkeeping software and developed techniques to keep finances in order.
Natasha Morse, Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper
Natasha Morse started as a US Air Force Finance Officer overseeing the base Government Travel Card and Defense Travel System program. After several years serving her country, she joined the Department of Veteran Affairs as a Credentialing Specialist Assistant where her passion for organization and project management was born eventually leading to an internship in Contracting. Though she had taken off her uniform, she continued to serve her fellow service members by negotiating and implementing multiple million-dollar contracts which provided quality care for veterans in need of medical services. Eventually, she felt the need to shift gears and focus on serving her family through support of her military spouse and two children through multiple deployments. Continuing her drive for self-improvement and passion for service, she went back to school earning a Master’s in Human Resource Management, started her own real estate property management company, served as Key Spouse for an Air Force tenant unit and became a Girl and Boy Scout troop leader. Following her desire to be a part of a team again, she embarked on a new journey in a rewarding and challenging career field, eventually leading her to BBI.
Natasha joined our team in November 2021 as an Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper. With her background of over 10 years of administrative experience in Project Management, Human Resources, Contract Formation, and Real Estate Property Management, she approaches any job with a positive, hard-working mindset. She continues to be passionate about helping others and finding solutions to any challenge and is excited to bring these experiences and enthusiasm to the team at BBI and to our clients.
Her spare time is spent with her husband and children hiking, camping, gardening and traveling.

Kathryn Johnson, Admin/Bookkeeper Assistant
Kathryn grew up visiting and working at her father’s orthodontic practice. While working as a front office assistant, she became interested in the daily business operations of the practice and realized her passion for accounting and management.
Kathryn graduated in 2021 with two Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and in Finance. After graduating, Kathryn pursued career opportunities in the accounting world which led her from Florida to Georgia and Business Bookkeepers.
Kathryn joined the BBI team in June 2021 as an Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper. She has since been striving to grow and advance her accounting and bookkeeping knowledge and skills.
